In fact, James Austin took the pain to classify luck in his book, Chase, chance, and creativity. He say there are four types of luck.
- The first one is blind luck. When we talk about luck, that is what we usually mean.
- The second one is active luck. You do something because you love doing it. You don't have any big strategic plans behind your action. Then fortunate events happen giving you unexpected results.
- The 3rd type of luck comes to you because of discernment, a foresight so to speak.
- The last one is personality luck. It comes to you because of who you are.
